International applicants are required to take one of the following tests to assess their English language proficiency and submit the results to BTS as part of admissions requirements:

  • Duolingo English Test
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

Applicants with acceptable scores will be given an opportunity during the interview process to demonstrate their English proficiency. The English proficiency exam requirement may be waived on a case-by-case basis after submission of all other application documents.
