Financial Information

The Seminary is guided by its principle of charging affordable and comparatively low fees for theological education. These charges do not reflect the full per-student costs to the Seminary, but are subsidised through the support that the Seminary receives from Baptist churches and individual contributors from Singapore and overseas. Fees are reviewed and adjusted periodically given changing costs of living. They can be payable by cash, cheque or Internet-Banking, with no charge of Goods and Services Tax.

Financial Assistance

Tuition Fee Assistance

The purpose of tuition fee assistance is to help needy students enrolled in BTS’ theological degree programmes (Adv Dip, Grad Dip, BTh, MA, MDiv) to cover their tuition fees. The tuition fee assistance will cover up to 100% of the successful applicant’s tuition fees for one semester. This does not include fees for audited courses. The Admissions and Financial Assistance Committee reserves the right to grant only a certain percentage of semestral tuition fees. Students may apply for tuition fee assistance from the second semester onwards, and it is reviewed every semester. Other limited financial assistance can also be applied for after admission.

In line with donors’ intentions, recipients are expected to return to their home countries or to a similar country to serve the nations upon graduation. If non-Singapore resident recipients choose to remain in Singapore after graduation, the recipient will need to pay back all the financial assistance received within one year.
